Officer Resource & Development

The Officer Resource and Development Department assists Salvation Army officers and members in pursuit of higher educational opportunities.

Salvation Army Continued Education Program (SACEP) is a continuing education program with partner universities to provide skill development for Salvation Army officers in their first five years of officership.

Various degree completion options are open to officers, members, and employees of The Salvation Army. Courses are offered through our partner institutions. Course information and the registration form may be found in the links for SACEP and Educational Resources for Officers.

Other education resources include student loans, grants, and scholarships available to members, officers and the children of officers under Student Aid for Salvationists.

A Biblical Education Tour to either Israel or Greece and Turkey is offered each year to eligible Salvation Army officers, retired officers, members, and employees.
