Exploring a calling to fulltime ministry is a very personal thing, but there are blessings and advantages to including interaction with a like-minded community of believers.

Discover 730 is an opportunity to join a fellowship of people who share the common goal of exploring becoming a Salvation Army officer as a response to God’s calling to fulltime ministry. Retreats, regional D730 (Discover 730) meetings, Join the Conversation gatherings, coffee with leaders and organized fun will give members opportunities to seek the wise counsel of divisional leaders. It will allow for self-examination, with guidance, as you explore how your unique gifts and talents can be used in ministry and will provide the rich fellowship of others who share your desire to know and do God’s will.

Membership in Discover 730 can be invaluable as you seek to identify the plans and purposes God has prepared for you (Ephesians 2:10). It is open to those ages 14 to 56.

Every division has an active Discover 730 group. For more information contact your divisional candidates’ secretary or visit the Candidates page under Departments on our website.
