Pray Around the World 2020 — Mexico territory

This week, the international Salvation Army is praying specifically for our brothers and sisters in the Mexico territory. Here is some information to help you as you pray:

  • Zone: Americas and Caribbean
  • Territorial leaders: Commissioners Oscar and Ana Rosa Sanchez, who lead 132 active and 44 retired officers
  • Languages in which the gospel is preached: Spanish
  • This territory includes 53 corps and one outpost, with 1,926 senior soldiers, 1,590 junior soldiers, and 1,392 adherents.

Here are some specific prayer requests from the Mexico territory:

  • Territorial leadership and territorial team
  • Training college spring campaign
  • Cadets and officers of the training college
  • Divisional leaders and staff of the four divisions
  • Social programs that are attending immigrants in the north and south of the country
  • Women’s ministries camps in every division
  • Retired officers who are facing health issues
  • Protection for the Salvationists who live in places where violence has increased
  • Delegates, instructors and organizers of the Latin American College for Officers (LACO) which will take place in May 2020
