The Whole World Mobilizing Celebration!

Everyone linked to The Salvation Army is encouraged to take part in this international meeting on Sunday, October 8 to celebrate the great things happening around the Army world as Salvationists mobilize, taking their faith witness, flag and passion to the streets, offering people the opportunity to know Jesus.

The festivities will be taking place at Regent Hall Corps in the heart of London (United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland), and will be live streamed around the world.

The meetings will show inspiring stories from all corners of the globe, gathered from each of the Army’s five zones. Festivities will be led by the General, Commissioner Silvia Cox (World President of Women’s Ministries), the Chief of the Staff (Commissioner Brian Peddle), Commissioner Rosalie Peddle (World Secretary for Women’s Ministries) and The Whole World Mobilising team.

The live stream will start at 11am (BST) with a holiness meeting, followed by a march of witness at 1:30pm to the historic Trafalgar Square, in central London. Here, in the center of national democracy and protest, an offer of hope in Christ will be given on the upper terrace between the National Gallery and Nelson’s Column. The open-air meeting, led by the Chief of the Staff, will feature a range of creative worship expressions, including brass, Songsters, the male vocal quartet FourHymn and dance by Konverse dance troupe.

The celebration meeting – also live-streamed – begins at 3,30pm and will feature Konverse, the Bill Booth Theatre Company (USA Central Territory), the Regent Hall music sections, and videos and testimonies from around the world.

It’s not to be missed!

The Whole World Mobilizing Celebration will be live-streamed on Facebook (www.facebook.com/mobilising) and mobilising.salvationarmy.org from 11am BST (GMT+1) on Sunday 8 October.
