New resource helps Salvationists to understand holiness

by Mark Bender

Holiness. It’s one of those religious words that we sometimes talk about, but what does it really mean? Can I be holy? How does it happen?

A new resource by lifelong Salvationist Dr. David Winters might help you answer those questions. Inspired by the first-ever National Seminar on Holiness, the curriculum titled “Becoming Holy: Introduction to a Life of Personal Holiness; Invitation to a Love Relationship with God” is a great starting point for those interested in learning more.

This nine-session study, which can be downloaded, includes Salvationist perspectives on holiness, conversation starters and discussion questions, and the practices of:
• solitude
• Scripture memorization
• meditation
• prayer
• learning from others

Consider using this free resource in small groups, women’s and men’s ministries, Sunday school classes or in your own personal study.

Learn what holy living means and develop a love relationship with God.
