Salvation Army Responds to Tennessee/Kentucky Flooding

For the last two weeks, heavy rain in Tennessee and Kentucky resulted in swollen creeks and rivers that reached flood levels. Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) personnel are responding to needs, including cleanup kits, feeding and emotional and spiritual care (ESC), as flood waters recede. Additional need for assistance was spawned by tornadoes ripping through the southeastern United States leaving death and destruction in their paths. EDS and ESC trained staff and volunteers responded immediately to serve survivors impacted by the storms.
