Looking back, I can see how my reconciliation with Christ changed my life for the better and brought clear direction to my steps. It is in following Him that I received my call to be a Salvation Army officer, as did my husband, Landon. Trusting in the Lord has opened doors and led to relationships with people we never thought we would have.
To me, being reconciled with God also means being reconciled with my brothers and sisters in Christ. God has shown me what that truly means by living in such a close community at the College for Officer Training these last two years.
I can see God’s faithfulness to us even when we doubted what His plans for our life would be. Coming to training during the pandemic was a huge leap of faith and had many obstacles along the way, but it’s one I am so glad we trusted God to take.
