UPDATE: The Salvation Army Responds to Oregon Wildfires

(September 17, 2020) As evacuation orders begin to lift, The Salvation Army continues to serve those impacted by the wildfires. In Clackamas County, evacuees have started to return home, and so The Salvation Army is transitioning from serving daily meals to providing long-term support for that area.

The Salvation Army continues to provide meals and services in the following areas:

(September 14, 2020) – Since Monday, September 6, The Salvation Army has provided 10,648 meals for evacuees across nine counties in Oregon.

Whenever we’re asked by local and state agencies, The Salvation Army responds to our region’s wildfires. As one of the nation’s major emergency relief organizations, The Salvation Army is on the ground before, during, and after a disaster strikes. Our Emergency Disaster Services teams provide food, hydration, emotional comfort, and more.

Right now, The Salvation Army continues to provide meals across nine counties in Oregon.

OREGON (September 9, 2020) – The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services has been activated in Ashland, Phoenix, Talent, Medford, Linn County, Roseburg, and Lincoln County to respond to the Oregon Wildfires.
