The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
- It’s difficult, if not impossible, to capture the miracle of Christmas in words. Charles Wesley came as close as anyone with these lines from “Hark, the Herald Angels Sing”:
“Veiled in flesh the Godhead see;
Hail the incarnate Deity!
Pleased as man with man to dwell,
Jesus our Immanuel.
