Corps Mission

The Corps and Community Mission Department provides trainings, consultations, conferences, and resources in several areas

Central Bible Leadership Institute (CBLI)

“The purpose of Central Bible Leadership Institute (CBLI) is to nurture and prepare Salvation Army people engaged in mission to the world, to be able to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs His name without discrimination.” CBLI is a weeklong “vacation with a purpose.” It offers in-depth Bible teaching, inspirational worship, meaningful fellowship, personal refreshment and recreation at The Salvation Army’s Wonderland Camp and Conference Center in southern Wisconsin. We provide oversight to the Adult Track.

Territorial Soldiers’ Forum

The Territorial Soldiers’ Forum is a conduit for communication between soldiers of The Salvation Army with S.A. leadership, allowing soldiers to voice their ideas, needs and concerns. The Territorial Soldiers’ Forum is comprised of divisional sergeant-majors and assistant divisional sergeant-majors, prayerfully selected by their divisional leaders and approved by the territorial commander; the territorial sergeant-major (TSM) and assistant territorial sergeant-major (ATSM), also appointed by the territorial commander; as well as a young adult representative appointed by the territorial youth secretary. Captains Kristina and Michael Sjögren are designated as liaisons to facilitate the forum’s work. For more info, visit the Territorial Soldiers Forum online.

National Seminar on Evangelism (NSE) and National Seminar on Holiness (NSH)

We assist NHQ and the Program Secretary with the processing of the delegates’ registrations for these two events, held every other year.

Long Service Soldier Recognitions

We help process certificates and pins for soldiers who celebrate 25, 50, and 75 years of service, upon request.
