A Rushing Wind

by Lt. Christopher White

A force of nature, a rushing wind-

Unseen yet powerful.

24 hours in a day, rushes like a

Hurricane through my life, destructive,

Loud, uncompromising, demanding,

Unstoppable.

Sometimes I feel like an exposed candle,

Easily extinguished by this rushing

Wind.

Yet, I am covered by the hurricane

Glass of Christ, the hurricane becomes

The rushing wind of the Spirit,

Challenging stagnation, causing

Movement and containing life.

Cover me with your glass and

let my light shine in the hurricane

of life.

3 men in the dark, in search for the Lord

by Lt. AJ Zachery

I know the Lord has come from

The throne to earth

I need to find him and give the

King something of worth

My best I’ll give

My all he deserves

My best is his

My all, I’ll serve

Only in the darkness can I see the path

of righteousness

The night has the stars and its light

My end of hopelessness

My best I’ll give

My all he deserves

My best is his

My all, I’ll serve

I have found the baby Jesus resting

In this dirty place

The answer to all my problems

Looking into his holy face

His best God gives

I do not deserve

God’s best He gives

Christ is ours, now I must serve

Sought and searched

by Lt. Mary Kim

Sought and searched by

The dark night of my soul.

Old vices and habitual sins

Removed, restored. Now ready to

Yield my story to His story,

Yet again, I will praise Him.
