The General has extended the service of Commissioners William and Nancy Roberts, national leaders, for one year. Their retirement from active service will now be October 31, 2014. They will continue to serve in their present positions until that time. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.


Three years since the Omaha, Neb., Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center opened, it’s become an inspiring focal point for thousands of residents. The Omaha Kroc Center is living proof God still transforms lives. Our purpose statement says it best: At The Salvation Army Kroc Center, people are inspired to discover their God-given talents and develop their potential through artistic, educational, physical and spiritual experiences. A health care organization could be any organization working to better the spiritual, physical or mental health (or all three) of individuals. Some Salvation Army programs regularly address all three of these aspects of health. There are many questions you may want to explore in order to find the best possible partnership for your corps or center.
